LSU was just a stepping stone to the NBA due to the NBA rules. JJ was just a pawn and had no ability to coach him. This years team 100% better then 2 years ago!

A friend of mine asked me this question the other day. My response:
I understand he went to LSU but Simmons means nothing to me, much like LSU to him.

I am not going to say I "hate" the kid...but I will definitely say that I was very put off by his arrogant attitude and some of the things that he said about LSU. If you choose not to feel that way, then that is fine, but you can't condemn those who DO feel that way because it is not unreasonable.

I like Ben Simmons. I don't think calling his time at LSU a "waste" was a shot at LSU, I think it was a shot at the NCAA/NBA for its dumb one and done rule. There's no reason Ben Simmons should've been forced to spend a year here. I wish him the best and if he does well, my fairweather arse is definitely claiming him as a tiger
