But that video was a total set up

The same guys who brought them the shirt videoed it. If that's what you mean by set up, then sure.

Its all in good fun until ULL fans switch their ULL hats for Bama hats in the fall.

Some undoubtedly will, Most do not and support LSU. Many who do have been put upon by douchebaggy LSU fans in the same way many LSU fans who obsess about ULL fan's attitudes were put upon by douchebaggy LSU fans.

It's probably a little easier to take the douchebags if you're the top dog, though.

I hope you're joking about taking offense to that. It was all in very good humor. There's far less animosity between the fan bases in real life -message boards are just a troll echo chamber.

ah I've never understood the fans who wear a bunch of gear for another team that isn't playing in the game they're attending

I used to kind of understand that point of view, but now I wonder who is the real jackass in this scenario? The guy who wears the gear of a team not competing, or the fans who get irate over it when he is there spending money and time to attend one of your schools games?

The key here is that he, and his favorite school, ARE NOT in competition with the offended fans school.

When a third party fan from another school comes to an LSU game, and I've seen it quite a few times, I take it as a nod of respect for Tiger Stadium (or AB or PMAC), the fans, and the program for those folks to take the time to come watch a game that their school isn't competing in.

Your fashionista bullshite is such backwards thinking, imho

they really are pissy(insecure) about that

I went to a Cajuns football game many years ago. I lived in Lafayette at the time. I was attending ULL as a student. I still live around the area, just not in Lafayette anymore.

I wore a Ragin Cajuns shirt, but I had a khaki colored LSU hat (only hat I owned). People threw a fit, cursed at me, etc. All because of the hat. It was then I really started to hate them. Some of them are pathetic. I went to that school and I find myself having a hard time supporting them for that reason.

Doesn't matter. The university of Lafayette is self destructing against Arizona right now.

So obvious that was not a "LSU Fan." Who wears a t-shirt under a polo in 90-degree heat? And no self-respecting LSU fan would ever roll over like that.
So basically ULaLa bought some LSU gear. Thank YOU for your support.
