Considering how many people LSU graduates annually and that pursue jobs outside Louisiana, I’d say it’s quite common to find fans and alumni throughout the US, especially the states contiguous to Louisiana.

LSU fan since birth. Have lived in MS for 30 years. I’m 32.

Ms State Grad. My kids wear P&G. We pull for State when not against LSU.

I’m from Natchez. It’s LSU or Ole Miss there.
State has very little following in that area.

This. My WalMart is full of Tide gear. I know they sell what sells, but damn. Have some in-state pride.

Hey y’all, is it common to be a fan of a team from another state?

come into my office and have a seat...

- LSU fan from way back since I was around 4-5ish
- Graduated from Tech: love the Red and Blue too
- Falcons fan since birth (dad was from GA and only sport he watched was NFL so i knew no different)
- Braves fan since I was around 6ish and we got cable and the glory that was TBS.

Born and raised in LA so I am usually the only Falcon's fan most people know. I get a lot of text messages whether they do bad or really good because i am literally all they have.

yes sir...we have quite an alumni base in Mississippi.

while most favor ole miss, ms state, or southern ms, Alabama has quite a following in northern ms and LSU has a good following in southern ms.

Had a family move into my hometown (mountains of NC) in 3rd grade from Baton Rouge. Its turned into 30 years of friendship and a shared love of LSU sports. In Charleston SC now and still prefer Gamecocks over Clemson for the simple fact of the SEC.
