If Bolden is number 1 I think he looked really comfortable...

Agreed Bolden looked crisp and on point. Very good for a 1st day on a new campus and new offense... Look for him to make strides in the next few weeks..

I think they both look good. One or more of the three will turn out to be a very capable backup to Met.

You mean when he threw the ball to the ground and the receiver had to dive for it?

they both looked the same, some decent throws, some bad. Of course a nice 15 second clip is only going to find everyones bias Bolden did have the nice look on the middle screen, but damn that is a stretch.

If either one is forced into significant playing time we are probably screwed anyway.

Bolden has a REALLY high release on his throws, but hey, he keeps the nose down and gets it to the receiver. Better than I expected.

Dillon Gordon is a big TE with good hands. Hope he can work his way into some playing time.

I really don't think Bolden is going to struggle as bad as everyone thinks.

Bolden actually looked pretty smooth. He looks very comfortable and natural throwing the ball. This is only practice, of course, but his delivery looks very smooth.

Bolden had a 3.4 average at penn state. He's an intelligent player. He threw the ball well, expect him to be a good back up. He'll see playing time in clean up or if mett gets hurt.

He could do very well if called on. He wasn't playing with such great players at Penn State. At Lsu if he has to play he will have the best rec core, best O line , and best tailbacks in the country.

He's not a threat to Randle he's a Jr. Randle could start as a Jr..
