Les call downs the front runner now in the post game interview. But Freak will play a lot next season and probably get starting position if somebody is injured.

I feel one freshman will get the starting position this year.

Maybe not Feist at the end.

Its hard to say starter for certain positions. Without randle i dont know if we have a true #1 wr. But ill take that. Rb will be whoever has the hit hand. Dline and lbs will rotate. Im actually pumped ab our wr now. We gonna have some talented players left in single coverage.

It' scary to think how good these RB's could be. They could use some many different formations with the loaded talent in the backfield. The question is will we? Probably not

Please don't give Les any ideas or it'll be all wing-T and nothing else in any big game.

I agree. I'll take very good depth over one superstar and bunch of scrubs any day.

Do y'all honestly believe Miles is going to sit Dworaczyk and play Collins?

Why not?

I know what you will respond with some rantard talking point about miles though, so dont bother. You do nothing but bash the coach.

They're sophs? I thought they both redshirted last year. Could be wrong.

Yea, you're right. Miles has consistently shown that he plays the best players and not his favorite players.

Right? I just want to get your answer on the record here.

Name the limited few ones when it was at best debatable.

You are going to go all SFP and say keiland. And you could stretch and say the qb position last season.

But every other time is basically a debate. I don't see this "miles doesnt play the best player" argument at all.

I'd love for you to say that he doesn't play young talent either so I can laugh.

Really short stretch.

I think the point has been made. Miles has his favorites and he plays them over others who are better either out of stubbornness, narrow-mindedness, or some other reason.

As far as not playing young talent, I won't argue that one.

I disagree with this because you can take any coach and have the same criticisms about some players that they choose to play over others.

But overall I don't think we have seen it to the point where it is an inherent problem with miles. I know some feel differently.

I just guess we disagree.

A civil disagreement then.

This is way out of character here.

I feel I should at least tell you to STFU.

The only logical thing to say now is DIAF and GTFO.

What's your impression on our O-line?

Love it. OT's Hurst & Faulk were stellar as usual. When I spotlighted Collins, he was money. RG Williford was decent but Freak beat him multiple times to tackle the runner. Josh is the weakest link. I wonder Les would switch Josh Dworaczyk to RG cuz he was dominant pulling on Hilliard's runs and it'd be nice to have our 5 best OL starting on the field.

But Vadal Alexander looked really good too at RG. He would move his man out of the play consistently, but he has to watch his balance. He was effective opening a hole, but he would be on his knees on the ground just as the play was ending.

There were two false start penalties that I assumed came from the white team (starting) OL, but I have no clue who made them.

I asked about Lael vs. Josh D. on a different thread, but wanted to see what others thought. Like I said there, Collins has been impressive since arriving at LSU very highly touted. I am hoping for the good of the team he remains the starter, and Josh D. can provide a capable, experienced, back-up. I hope Miles does not feel like Josh D. is entitled to start because he is a senior & back after the medical red-shirt. Let's get the best linemen in there & have a great offense!

I have a funny feeling the coaches will "Ken Adams/Barkevious Mingo" this one and give Downs the "start" because he's a senior but Freak will play more.

Honestly though, and it sounds bad, but Downs has been hurt literally every single year since being here so he might just take himself out of that.
