Here is my prediction of the LSU Depth Chart for Day 1 of Spring Training.
Obviously, your guess is as good as mine.

Notes:
• It should be noted that if I were predicting a Game 1 Depth Chart, then things might be a bit different here.
• We have seen that BK likes to have an upperclassman in the starting spot during the Spring, even if he has to share reps with a younger guy that might eventually supplant him. For this reason alone I do not expect a single true freshman to start on Day 1 of Spring Training.
• In my previous post-portal preview I listed all incoming transfers in the 2nd slots of their respective positions. This time I'm taking a guess.

Updates:
• Player Class and Experience columns have been updated as best as can be predicted.
• All On3 Industry ratings have been updated for incoming freshmen and transfers.
• H/W has been updated for incoming freshmen, according to LSUsports.net, but I had to click on players' links individually for more recent information than what was posted in the Signing Class overview page.

Notable Battles:
• [RB] Kaleb Jackson better prove it and prove it fast. Harlem Berry is going to get some of his reps, but will he take all of them?
• [WR] It's hard to imagine that Nic Anderson wouldn't take one of the starting spots. But people have been talking about him being a "deep threat," and that threat usually comes from the boundary, where Chris Hilton Jr. currently plays.
• [TE] I suspect that Bauer Sharp might end up getting the nod instead of Trey'Dez Green, but I cannot imagine Green not at least sharing in 1st Team reps.
• [OL] Carius Curse and Solomon Thomas have been the only OL mentioned to potentially contend for playing time in 2025. Thomas was specifically listed as "Tackle" on LSUsports.net.
• [DE] The two DE spots are going to be a slugfest this Spring. Perhaps Gabriel Reliford will move to the strong side (DEf) to allow for Patrick Payton to start as an edge rusher.
• [LB] The battle at MIKE should be good as well, but I expect West Weeks to take the first reps on Day 1. Davhon Keys could just as easily backup Perkins at SAM.
• [SAF] People have been predicted Tamarcus Cooley as a Day 1 starter at Safety. He will have to compete with Dashawn Spears at that spot, because the Star position is probably going to give way to Harold Perkins at SAM.

If Ashton Stamps is still a starting CB next year, we're in serious trouble.

He might be a candidate for nickel or even at safety, but he has some of the worst ball skills I've ever seen from a starting CB at LSU.

Why do I want to see All three weeks brother at the Sam Will and Mike Simultaneously? Not saying it SHOULD happen

I'm not completely ready to give up on Ashton yet

So he started as a freshman because he had to, sophomore year, while I agree with you on his ball skills, he did show improvement in keeping up with route tree's and he wasn't that out of place in many instances. He just couldn't deny the reception.

I'm also not saying I expect him to become an AA, but, serviceable.

Yeah Stamps, while I appreciate his effort, has not been great in coverage. I don’t know how you can start two full seasons at CB and not intercept a single pass or at the very least learn to turn around when the ball is being thrown at you. I will say though, I really liked how they used him blitzing in the Ole Miss game because he was pretty disruptive. I’m not sure why we never saw that again the rest of the year.

I'll bet you a grand, Mubunga is a starter or first off the bench. You buried him in the depth chart, my question is why?

It's just a guess. I don't think it is unlikely that Mubenga will start out as the #2 LG; I just think there are other guys who are more likely to get the start. Perhaps the coaching staff will want to see what their new toys (i.e., Carius Curne and Solomon Thomas) can do.

I would rank the following G/C players according to their likelihood of starting:
1. Braelin Moore
2. Josh Thompson
3. DJ Chester
4. Bo Bordelon
5. Paul Mubenga
6. Carius Curne

Well that's probably due to our human propensity to appreciate a good story line, or, otherwise, our survival skill of recognizing patterns.
It would be pretty cool to see for a drive.
• SAM = Whit Weeks
• MIKE = Zach Weeks
• WILL = West Weeks

They need to room him with Kaleb Jackson and have him eat half of KJ's dinner.

I respect your opinion bro, I think he develops into a very good guard in the league. He was a backup cause he's got talent and will hopefully continue to improve.

We don’t have a single linebacker that outweighs our running back. Is Jackson too heavy, LBs too light, or just the nature of modern football?

Read a couple of weeks ago that he’s in great shape and up to 190 lbs.

I know it’s Harlem, not Marvin, but my brain just won’t let it go.

Down vote me if you want, but there are a lot of bad takes in this thread.

Nice list! I think Guillory and McKinley start with Sydir and Breaux first subs. Sydir and Zion both weigh in excess of 350.
