I am excited. I have predicted that LSU wins by 3. However, if JL starts, I'd have to go with a pick'em.

I like bison. He can handle the shite talking an dish it out. My post was nothing more than that. If the game were in baton rouge he would get an invite to the RV and be offered a beer or two and some jambalaya. Can't say the same for some of these other UO posters.

@ bison normally shows a "thumbs up" emot.

Idl what's up with them

I cross my fingers for no more off the field incidences. Then shite talk can resume. It almost gameday week...hell, it's bye week.

No shite. I feel you're level headed enough to realize these teams control their own fate (on and off the field) but you know damn well we have those fans who use the "well we didnt have _____" excuses.

You going?

I guess providing shelter is more important than an athletic event in some states ha. Good luck with that.

Accepting the turf insight. With that in mind thinking the Tigers base defense against the ducks will be a 4-2-5:
DL - all <5.0 - LB- all <4.8 - DB-all. <4.4 - that is speed!
Agree the game will be determined between the tackles.

Good thing it's the Pac-12 then...
a 12-pack should be easier to remember, at least until you're halfway through drinking one.
At least we can actually count, unlike the Big 10 & Big 12 dyslexia weirdness. They may have legends and leaders, but still can't count beyond their fingers.

You realize Auburn played on the same turf too, right?

You realize when a field is that slick no one can really RUN and more importantly ACCELARATE. Look at is this way. You're way faster than someone. but now your trying to manuever on a slip and slide. The gap isn't so much different now is it.

With a younger defense, I give a slight advantage to Oregon speed on O compared to our D.

But if our D line can control the line, the speed factor will be substantially mitigated.

the speed that will be important is the Dline and LB's if they can get in the backfield quickly and pressure the QB - game over

Keep the turf in mind...

Ask Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State and aTm how LSU plays on turf.

It'll be an advantage for the Tigers too. Where LSU will separate from Oregon on the speed factor is up front. Hell, most good teams have fast guys out wide, but it's the speed up front that makes the SEC what it is.
