Yeah, exactly like that, except that it is completely different.

Did you read the link? Notice the link was from the COMPLIANCE department, not licensing. This has nothing with them wanting the rights and making money. No way LSU can sell anything with "Honey Badger" on it. At least not until he leaves LSU. They'd be screwed.

great point. That stupid t-shirt isn't worth losing TM7 for the fricking game if the NCAA decided to be total cocksuckers

although, if he or the school fails to receive any of the proceeds I am not exactly sure how that works

LSU covered its bases by sending the cease and desist letter, so I don't think they'd have to worry about anything from the NCAA.

The reference to advertisements means advertisements for products for sale.

Whatever happened with the gas station by campus that wanted to paint purple and gold on the outside with LSU flags all around the perimeter? I heard LSU bitched and moaned but have not heard about it since

It's not LSU's decision, retard. It's the NCAA. Would you rather Tyrann be deemed ineligible to play because some fans made shirts with his likeness on it?

These rules are all about money, while disguised as protection for the student athlete.

TM7 is in the clear b/c LSU did send out the statement. LSU is in the clear b/c they did what they were told by the NCAA. The "mom and pop" stores are in the clear b/c they are not under any legal obligations to stop selling their products. SO...that being said...everyone is good and the HONEY BADGER still does not give a shite!

Why don't you read the entire thread before posting what you think you know. It will save you from looking even dumber than you already are.

Yeah, I'd be pissed if this happened.

But... what if Bama fans, disguised as LSU fans, did this just to frick with us? hoping to get him ineligible.

It'd better be enough for LSU to send the cease and desist letters to appease the NCAA.

Son of a B! I just had all of these serving tray made. I guess I'll be selling them out the trunk of my car
