What’s that have to do with anything? We were playing awful at the time and were blowing massive leads, couldn’t rebound, and couldn’t defend. I’ll own it.

Doesn’t change the fact that you’re overweight and get your good times trolling this site about Will Wade.

It’s pretty sad that you acknowledge that you think I’m trolling and you still have a meltdown lol

None of the current Compliance people were at LSU when I was a student.

Nor when I was either.

My point that obviously has sailed over you head is that people comment when they have no clue. Why?

I am sure in my heart that the majority of the people busting up on the compliance department have no idea exactly how it functions.

Except for course for that bright shinning light who made some comment about a lesbian. Now THAT's important news isn't it? You gotta hand it to that guy, amirite? He knows the inside stuff.

So you don’t know any more than I do, just as I suspected.

Are you and elleshoe the same person?

You’re both d-bags who bring nothing substantive to the board, are constantly miserable and talk down to other posters who are clearly a minimum of 20-30 IQ points ahead of you.

I pity both of you. I can’t imagine having to go through life having to talk down to anonymous people on a message board (most of whom are clearly smarter than you at that) for the sake of your own pitiful self esteem.

I hope one day you’re able to turn it around. You’re clearly a very sad person and I feel for you.

I know a bunch of former football players and have never heard a peep about any compliance issues. shite I know one guy that had a 16ACT and was admitted & was never an issue.

Compliance walks a delicate thin line, ostensibly protecting the President/Chancellor, the university (the Ole War Skule), and the AD from shite, from issues with the NCAA and the SACSCOC. They are not enemies of the people. They are not enemies of GEAUX Tigers.

The person who runs it is a Dale disciple , so it started with an anti football bias. Think back to the late 90s /early 2000s. No basketball players ever got popped. Damian James gets popped , however, right after a big game. Nick pushes back and in 2004 the guy gets moved. Nick leaves and he moves back to compliance. He hires a minion who now runs the entire department with a mindset of don’t do this as opposed to let’s figure out a way around it. I don’t smoke and I am not a big “legalize” it person , but I think it’s idiotic that we would enforce any rule more strict than required by NCAA or SEC. When a kid comes to LSU on an academic scholarship, mandated drug testing is not required. Why do they test an athlete on scholarship for anything other than performance enhancing ? it makes no sense when you compare the two situations. A kid with an academic scholarship can take a scheduled drug without a script to stay awake or focus, which is a felony, but an athlete smokes pot and he gets suspended.

This reply will not satisfy...coming from a LSU alum not currently at LSU but in a position to know...student athletes are treated differently. Period. Get. Over. It.
