This Compliance shite is hoping to catch some players (drug testing) so they can use that as an excuse not to be in the NCAA tournament, frick all these people in the administration. Coach WW aside this other shite to me is more disturbing, this counterproductive BS needs to go with King & Aleva.
After a great basketball season as a fan all this shite you really can't enjoy it.

I thought this thread was about how the compliance department in athletics is screwing over athletes.
But you see it how you would like

Wow, just like when they went after the Honey Badger. do you really think Bama would go after their lead horse over there. If this is true , truly LSU compliance dept are assholes.

You seem pretty well versed in compliance’s role here, which I am not.
Can you lay out specifically what changes we need to make to rectify this compliance problem we have? What ADs could we hire that would come in and fix this and put us on a “level playing field” with everyone else in this context? I think most of us would agree that we don’t want LSU to be an “outlaw” program, but it’s a major problem if our compliance department is actively working against us in gray/borderline situations that our competitors are not even batting an eye at within their own programs. Our compliance department needs to be working to protect us, but certainly not “going out of their way” to hurt us and that’s where the AD needs to have power and control and a “clear understanding” with his people.
Nunez? ... Vincent?... Woodward?
Obviously these guys need to be good at some major stuff besides fixing compliance dept, but which one would be best at fixing that particular issue?
I could see where it would be difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of these people in the middle of a crisis/scandal because they’re holding too many cards, but a new AD could easily clean house as would be expected with a new hire. Or, in the unlikely event Alleva survives this, is there any way possible he could overhaul the staff?

We have to drug test more than any other college team in the country. It's absurd. Why on earth would you drug test more than you're required to by the NCAA?
Why not? Maybe we actually don’t want our players to take drugs.

I dropped a finance class because my teacher could barely speak English. It was so fricked up. I remember looking at the guy next to me and we just both got up and walked out.

Right, so that would mean the tourney would get shut down if the NCAA actually enforced this to every school implicated that made an "offer".

Woodward!! And he would come, as long as you got rid of Alexander too.
