When this is all over, LSU will be remembered as the school that stood with the players.

While others protected conferences, institutions, and bottom lines, LSU fought for the people who actually make college football possible.

That's what leadership looks like. That's what putting players first looks like.

And recruits are watching. In a world full of promises, LSU would have something no one else can sell: proof. Players want champions on the field. They also want a champion in their corner. LSU can be both.

I agree with this. When players ask Wright and Harris about this or Drew Rosenhaus, they’re going to say LSU fought for them until they couldn’t any longer, while all the other supposed adults and power players were firmly against them. Players talk to each other, as do agents, etc. It matters.

The SEC opening up the expulsion discussion was just a huge mistake for them. The media that isn’t on the SEC payroll probably just continue with whatever narrative they’re told, but once the idea of kicking LSU out was introduced, they saw right through that bullshite and went ballistic - see Stephen A yesterday.

Yeah, all I keep seeing is how LSU abandoned these players. Bitch, LSU and Kiffin are the only people that had their backs. The players and their families see that.

LSU: NIL made professional players out of student athletes. We want to build the best program we can, and explore every available option to improve under the new rules. Sue us.
