That is not how it works. National seeds host super regionals. None of the top 8 will face each other in the supers.

I think the 1-8 seeding is mostly irrelevant, but if a coach has a preference as far as who you think you'd match-up with best at the CWS I guess it does matter some.
For example...if Oregon State is all that and a bag of chips then you don't want a 4,5, or 8 seed tomorrow.
Even that I suppose would come down to whether or not you felt like you had a better shot at beating a team in a 4 team bracket set up vs a typical best 2/3 weekend scenario.
