LSU was 4-7 that year yet managed to smoke UW 40-14. When fans see their team lose a game badly that they feel they should have won they make up all kinds of crazy shite. Not at all surprised here....I'm a LSU fan. We go apeshit/sky falling when we win too.

Its silly to say LSU cheated even if there were questionable calls. As far as I know teams aren't allowed to call their own fouls in these games. Were these SEC or Pac-10 officials or a crew from an outside conference? If they were from the SEC it was just the normal poorly officiated game and nothing more.

This was my first game to attend as an LSU freshman and I remember fans sitting in all the aisles. As I recall, the fire marshall issued a statement that this would not be allowed again. I believe the crowd was over 82,000 when the capacity was around 76,000.

Was there. LSU dominated. Frustrating rest of season. Some serious talent on the field. Mike Brooks, Hilliard, Caston, Burks, and one of my favs....Jeffrey Dale doing the Safety Dance.

So people who weren't alive during that game and have only read the box score and saw the penalties are going to claim we cheated while the people (including your own fans) who were at the game or saw it live say otherwise? LOL
