Take away the 2011 season, which ended in embarrassment, and we have a coach that has averaged 3.4 losses a year since 2008 and he will mostly likely surpass that this year
that is just an IGNORANT statement... take away 2003 from Saban and what do you get???

The deal with Miles may be done also....

somebody define "look at", what key evaluation factors and methods do they plan on looking at if they win the next 2? Bet they're so glad the FCS rent a win was cancelled so they wouldn't have to "look at" a 10 win season.

for a member of the BOS to openly come out with this on the eve of game is pretty shitty.
Guilbeau is LOL at all of you whining about this. Guilbeau got his arse scooped big time on the Miles' story this week, and now he is desperately trying to make himself relevant in all of this. The reason the board member came out with this "on the eve of a game" is because Guilbeau interviewed him. Could Anderson have said "no comment"? Yes. Should he have? Probably. But its minor compared to everything that has already happened this week.
It reminds me of the people who were displaced by hurricane Katrina complaining about being called refugees. Minor stuff in relation to the big, overall picture.

Scoob, that is a loser's mentality.

The FANS that think coaches will line up to take the LSU job after this shitshow have your head in the sand right next to the give him 3 more years crowd. Everyone pays 4 million a year, look further than your nose.
All Anderson did was create a stand off were now you have to pay him and hit a home run hire are we will see true mediocrity in BR.
6 million is the new 4 million and like it or not, LSU does not have a blank check.
BTW - The next coach will use the 10 win average and 76% win as not good enough to fleece the TAF.

LSU was gashed by two power football teams. LSU's power blocking game has been decimated with injuries. Neither of the games we played could have had a different outcome with a different gameplan or different in game coaching.
Again, it's not just these two games; it's the cumulative effect of multiple screw-ups like:
1. Tennessee 2005
2. Auburn 2006 (please don't say how good Auburn was; only one field goal with the talent on that offense?)
3. Malveto
4. Oxford clock fiasco 2009
5. Tennessee 2010 (yeah, it's on the books as a win, but please)
6. 1/9/2012 (maybe the ultimate)
7. Arkansas 2014
Not to mention several putrid performances against lesser teams (anyone remember McNeese 2010?).
While this may or may not happen, it is disingenuous to say that it's only about two games.

Tanks for the downvote, Pumper. I guess I stepped on your idol a little too much.
