So it makes it right?
Brett Bielema - beats us
Dan Mullen - beats us and makes Mississippi State relevant again (would take over Miles btw)
Hugh Freeze - makes ole miss a contender and beats BAMA twice
Nick Saban - nuff said

Each of those coaches is doing a better job than Les. He just doesn't have it. Why can't you people see that?

LSU board member says 2-0 may not be enough
Ronnie knows the 'boundaries' ... knows exactly what he is doing, both the statement and timing.

Of course. He's knows exactly what he's doing, it's good PR. Accelerating the process and making the bar so high to keep Miles that his firing becomes inevitable .

Anyone that believes Anderson's airing this out in a public venue as a Board member is a way of cultivating/maintaining a culture and environment of excellence is truly delusional.

Sounds to me like Ronald Anderson needs to keep his mouth shut....It is totally classless and unprofessional to make a comment like this.

Do your job in the meetings and act like a man....this is just another guy that is not a Miles fan trying to win the argument in the court of public opinion....

this reminds me of the bull*** politicking that goes on with the Southern University board

Im not wading thru all this shite but if Miles loses out...badly....which is not out of the realm of possibility...who in their right mind would want to give the man another year?

What do you say Bee?

Board Chairman (I think) of Louisiana Farm Bureau (elected)

Dairy Farmer (not certain this is still the case).

Not me.

But Red, that's not what this conversation in this thread was about. Most of us find this pretty unprofessional to come out with statements like this the day before a game and with games left to play.

Anyone saying they are firing him because of the "whole picture" are idiots. During Les' tenure we are the 5th winningest program in the country, and that's if you consider Boise State relevant.

Les is a goofy personality that refuses to change with times and that has people after him.

I agree. This can do nothing to help the team moving forward and may be a huge distraction.....not to mention the possible recruiting fallout. Should have waited til the end of the season.

Heck no...He's got 17 mil reasons to not resign, especially after a board member handles himself in this kind of classless way....
