No, we didn't. Even Burrow makes mistakes. I think it was Hester who was literally talking about this very play and how Drew Brees missed a similar throw in a playoff game. Nobody is perfect and it's Nuss' second fricking start with a shite playcaller at the helm.

No shite. But the biggest difference is, Burrow made the plays when it mattered. Nuss isn’t that kind of QB.

What is Nuss exactly? Comping him to one of the best QB’s in CFB history isn’t exactly fair. Not to mention Nuss is gonna be a much better QB this year than Burrow was his first year.

Nuss is the QB that won't take the LSU Tigers to the promised land for this season. But yea, he should be WAY better next year.

Burrow didn't take LSU to any promised land his first season and Jayden didn't either season. What's more Nuss outplayed both their first games as a starter in his first game and it's not his fault we lost the game. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. And yes based on every precedent in football he will be vastly better in a second season should he return.

Dude we have zero chance at going 10-2. We needed that win. BK ruined the season in game 1. Again.
I’m not trying to be negative or being emotional. Look at our friggin schedule. We have Bama, OU, OM, and aTm. At this point honestly Arkansas and UCLA aren’t even a given. There is absolutely NO WAY we get out of those games with 1 loss.
I’m just hoping for 9-3. 8-4 would SUCK.
Our playoff hopes are OVER. And it happened after game 1. We’re just playing to ruin someone else’s season. Hopefully Bama’s.

ND won’t get in with 2 losses while not playing a conference championship. Would add fuel to Riley’s argument to end that rivalry if it costs either of them a playoff spot
