I just thought I'd throw it out there.

We've never had an offense that averaged as many points/game as their's did last year.

UF returns Tebow, a Heisman winning QB.

We return a midly experienced Jordan Jefferson.

They return everybody from a defense that won a national title last year.

We fired our defensive staff after this past season.

Okay rocket, so basically we have no chance against UF? shite, why even watch the game. Bottom line is that for those handful of times in any given game next year when Urban meyer runs the I and/or has Tebow under center it will cost them, which is why I see LSU squeaking out a win in Tiger Stadium against UF.

UF may never line up with Tebow under center or in the I in that game.

I just think they'll have an easier time stopping us than we will have stopping them.

I don't think you've thought about all the angles on this one, hoss.

But clearly he has. Look:

New quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler is trying to improve Tebow's throwing mechanics and get him ready for the NFL. The Gators will have Tebow under center on occasion. Emmanuel Moody will get the opportunity to be an every-down running back.

LSU wins!!!

it's really not that tough to take LSU and Florida, change their names to team A and team B, and look at the stats, who is coming back, the matchups, and last year's game, and see that there is a greater chance that team A (uf) beats team B (LSU) most of the time. Sure, there is a chance, if things line up, UF turns it over a few times and the defense plays great, but its a small chance.

All I'll say is UF fans seem to underestimate the difficulty of going thru an entire year with a bulleyes on your back. Especially when you've got to go into a stadium (T.S.) against a team your head coach ran the score up against.

51-21 is very, very fresh in the LSU mind

Actually, I don't think this team will do that. That may have been the case in 2007 with a young D and a young Tebow. But this team has already learned the lessons of 2007, and hell, even last year they dropped one they shouldn't have and then Tebow gave his speech and they didn't lose focus again.

I think this is a very veteran team that is focused and won't overlook anyone. That is why I think they have a real shot to run the table.

And they certainly won't be overlooking LSU in Tiger Stadium on primetime after 2007. I think they'll be more pumped for that game than any other next year.

I'm surprised that no one has told you two to turn your season tickets in/kill yourself because you are not a real fan.

So, you think it's likely we can score more points on them although they return everybody from a unit that allowed just 12 points/game last year?

It's time for you to put your P&G glasses on and get with the program--

Tebow will be exposed this year!

TigerVoodoo and Rocket,

Turn your season tickets in/ and kill yourself in a way in which has never been done.

Oh yea. You are not a real fan.

Thank you,

If he tries it and it stalls the offense out, Meyer will stop doing it and go back to what has worked pretty much to perfection the past two years with Tebow. Simple as that.

Exactly...it is not Urban Meyers' job to get Tebow ready for pro football. If Tebow has to adjust his game at the next level it will be the coaching staff at that level that must tweak his skill sets. Meyers job in Gainesville is to win as many games with the talent on hand in the system that works best for Florida...and, err, to beat the living crap out of Kiffin and the Vols.
Besides...I thought that Tebow was the annointed savior of our nation as a republican presidential candidate...yeah, right.

UF >>> QB
UF < RB
UF > TE
UF < WR
UF = OL

UF > DE
UF > DT
UF > LB
UF > CB
UF > SS/FS

UF > return game
UF > coach

gonna be tough. we have a better offense in a lot of aspects, but them havin the vastly superior qb makes it tough

Meyer will do whatever it takes for UF to be successful.......

While I agree that there relationship borders on wierd.......in the long run, he will not care about TT's draft status; it will be about winning.

But I don't fault UM for doing this...it's just that everyone thinks he's all about what's best for his players....which is BS.
