I'll never forget the fog that covered southeast Louisiana that evening. It made the setting that much more magical. It was pretty hard to see through on the drive home.

That’s because we knew the night that we were finally able to beat Alabama that we were definitely winning the national championship so it wasn’t a shock anymore. I wouldn’t use the word “boring” when referring to the goat CFB team winning a title in Nola.
