A lot of you youngsters won't believe this, but there was about an 8 year stretch from the late 80's to mid 90's when LSU fans couldn't wait for basketball to start because the football team sucked so bad, and the basketball program was rolling. We may not be far from that happening again if Orgeron can't right this ship over the next couple of years.

LSU never has and probably never will be a basketball first school, but we've had stretches in our history where it was temporarily. And understand one thing: if the general can withstand whatever NCAA shitstorm we may or may not have coming, we will win BIG with him running the program.
