You guys realize that we are pitching guys like Jaden Hill, Ma’Khail Hilliard, and Eric Walker in midweek games? All these guys are crazy talented but haven’t gotten better at all because our pitching coach might be the worst position coach in the SEC. Do you guys even understand how much we are underperforming? Ma’Khail Hilliard has one of the best breaking balls I have ever seen but yet his command has gotten worse. Jaden Hill can throw the ball 97 mph yet can’t start in the weekend rotation. Eric Walker was a Sunday starter 2 years ago now he can’t even throw 3 innings vs Nicholls we have a serious problem!!!!! I know it sucks I don’t want to start over with a new head coach either but man this is bad this is really bad.

This post isn’t very good. You picked three players who have dealt with injuries and try to use them as an example of not progressing.
Walker has not had the same command since his surgery. That was what made him effective. He was never going to blow it by anyone or strike a lot of guys out. He hasn’t been able to regain that so far. Hopefully he will.
Hilliard May have a strong season. Why not wait and see?
If you haven’t read anything about the plan for Hill, then you should. He is being limited on purpose right now and is actually pitching on the weekend. He pitched Friday night. He very well could end up in the weekend rotation, causing one of the other starters to become a midweek starter. That wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Yeah the pitching is the last thing we should be complaining about. It’s the hitting and defense that are huge issues

Do you realize this team has 8 hits combined in 2 games against EKU? Add in another 4 against Nicholls. Pitching is fine.

So in your opinion, walker had great command, and then after his injury, alan dunn attempted to tear it away from him, and succeeded? And then dunn convinced Mainieri to only pitch 2-3 innings coming back from his injury to further sabotage the staff?

It's apparent you know very little about Tiger pitching. This is probably the best and deepest staff LSU has had in a long time. And I will add healthiest in there, as well. If our hitting coach can be as effective as AD, we should make it to Omaha with no problems.

Dude if we struggle to score more than 2 runs a game against the likes of nicholls and EKU, it’s gonna be a long year and that isn’t on our pitching staff
