I'm a hugh LSU fan but, I'm also honest. LSU baseball still shouldn't be ranked. They are very young and don't know who to win in the SEC yet. Also coach needs to start recruiting a few bigger guys. Everyone over 6 foot is pitchers only.

No one should be ranked until after third weekend of conference play

It's still early, the pitching can carry them if they would just get a little more production.

It will be a tough schedule to show progress but even a 15-15 record might be enough because the RPI will be very high. Even winning one at A&M was huge just because of the bump you get and I expect A&M to stay high all year.

I agree with you foreverlsu. He also needs some bigger guys for at bats. We have to be the smallest time in the sec. I understand the speed factor but, you need some power too.

I think we should definitely still be in the top 25. A couple things go our way on Saturday (few balls hit right at A&M fielders), and we take the series against the #2 team in the nation. We aren't there yet, but we don't suck.

Once Lange and poche figure things out we will be okay. I think the offense will gradually get better throughout the season and finish with about a .500 win % in sec play. Hopefully good enough for a 2 seed. And anything can happen in the tourney.

Height has nothing to do with being able to hit a ball, throw it, or run.

Power it does. Why you think all the best players in MLB are over 6 foot. Ken Griffy and Chipper Jones aren't 5'11" or shorter.

I know they are both retired and have been for many years just making my point.

Eh, look at the rest of the Top 25. No reason to put a lot of those teams ahead of us. Also, if your going to post this, just do it in the ranking thread. Saves the rest of us from clicking on trash threads.

Plenty of short dudes kick azz in mlb.

Think major issue is youth and lack of experience playing together.

Jose Altuve says Hi!

Oh and Robin Yount and George Brett were barely 6', if you want to go old school.
