Yep. I think Bianco benefits most from Doughty out. At least this weekend. Midweek games will be a free for all right now. Gonna see some different players I think Wyeth and Travinski should get one or two full games this week.

Even though he didn't showing much here, he can hit.
You won't find him getting any defensive accolades though and thats his problem.
Saw he caught 4 games for OSU this year and people are 5 for 5 in SB against him and he has a passed ball. He can't throw base stealers out.
In 2019 he threw 10 out of 74 base stealers out, which is awful. He only started 40 games at catcher too.

He can but be LHP, Drost needs to sit. And I’d like to see Safford a little at 2B. Kid looks scrappy.

I think he will be able to hit lefties in time. Seems to usually be an issue for freshmen more than anything. Tyler moore wasnt allowed to face them until his 7th year here

He was all pull and off balance with every swing. If he can’t hit a lefty who hits the outside corner, he’s gonna keep sucking.

I remember when we played Missouri with him at catcher back in 2019, think 1 game they went 5 for 5 on him in stolen bases. It was pitiful.
