I think we should use his absence to get Travinski more ABs.

Hold doughty out until utsa/baylor weekend. Dont hate that idea, p, but i dont see paul not getting bianco as many ab’s as possible

Cain hinted today that maybe Bianco is best used vs LHP. Of course that is prob more likely with a full roster than it is now. But worth noting

Yea i said earlier i thought safford at 2nd vs rhp and bianco vs lhp but i dont hate travinski getting some ab’s while doughty is out

Why not try Binco at SS and Arnold at second?
Is Arnold a liability there? Seems the risk is worth it with his bat va Safford.
I mean we started Foster at second because he had a great bat.

The roster is so talented that I actually want to see every position player get his chance. We have seen most of them already, lets see the other guys. That is what mid week games are for.

It seems like PM wants to give Safford some time at 2B. I'm sure that depends on whether Nicholls throws RH or LH, though. I also don't know whether you let Drost try to swing himself comfortable against a LH tomorrow or not.

I prefer arnold at ss over bianco bigly. If bianco keeps hitting i think the left side may be arnold and bianco when doughty comes back

Id rather bianco at 2nd and doughty at 3rd but i dont think doughty will move from 2nd and thats fine, he looks solid there

I can see that but I think Doughty has gotten comfortable at second, especially compared to last year so I’d hesitate to move him.

I could get on board with those lineups while we wait for Doughty. I do want to see Drost get some more ABs against LHs before conference play though.
