Hard to say too much yet. He started off shaky, but that could have easily been Opening Day nerves. Looked good after the first couple of batters.

Only on the Rant will we find fans who consider a pitcher as having a disappointing first appearance of the season after that pitcher goes one and two thirds innings, gives up ZERO hits, ZERO earned runs and one walk.

Why do you take everything to heart? Are you a woman? I did not say a single thing about him being disappointing. I said I was surprised bc he wasnt the style of pitcher that I was expecting. Never said he did poorly. I live out of state and dont get to go to preseason scrimmages so its easy for me to get new players confused on the first game of the season.

Yea you call this critical

What were yalls thoughts on Kaminer? For some reason I was under the impression that he was supposed to be a flame throwing lefty so I was caught by surprise. He certainly got a lot of work on fielding his position. He needs some work there but there wasnt much he could do on that bunt

And then you're probably the one turning around to blame his generation for being soft

I didn't describe what you wrote as "critical." There's no need for you to incorrectly quote what I wrote.

I said you were disappointed which is how I interpreted your post since you said you thought he was billed as a flame throwing lefty so you were caught by surprise when he wasn't last night.

If you weren't disappointed and you were pleased with his performance then I was wrong and I apologize for misunderstanding your intent.

How did Hal Hughes do?

He very nearly got destroyed by Mo Hampton running full speed. Fortunately they communicated well and Hampton peeled off. Could’ve been bad
