Yea that's what I thought too
I'm not sure what to think just going off those reports in a couple scrimmages. He seems to think we can get to their pitching and doesn't like many of their relievers.
He relates a lot of his comparisons to past KU teams against Big 12 so that should benefit us if he doesn't think they are that great and he has seen the past 8-10 teams.
But with it being the first series you cant really tell going in anyway. I just figured I would pass along the info.

Beau Jordan is going to be engineer on the pain train before the season is done.

I'm conducting the train which everybody wants to stay in the station. The train that everyone wants to be replaced by a new shiny train. This train however will be a reliable force to be reckoned with. Once the new shiny train leaves the station the old reliable train will wait until another train breaks down so he can produce his now saved up pain. That's right the Kade Scivicque Pain Train is ready when called on!!!!
For reference I like the new shiny train as well.

Good off speed stuff but it seems you can get the ball in play off him. Im not sure the league he is out of in CA is that tough. Without them losing that much on the mound, he wouldn't crack the lineup.
He didn't mention the Sunday guy at all and I think their Friday guy leads the Big 12 in wins. If I remember he started against that vaunted UK lineup last postseason and didn't give up a hit. He doesn't get through a lot of innings.
