Sure. But labrums seriously are a pitcher's worst nightmare. Setbacks happen often and it's an area of the body that doesn't heal quickly due to the limited amounts of blood there.

I searched like hell this morning for a picture of Aaron Hill wearing #5 and couldn't find any at all.

Reserved for future use

Now that it's Opening Day, in case anyone was wondering, I do plan to do BPB for my sixth full season. I will need substitutes for certain games, though, and will try to say when those come up. Here's an FAQ as a refresher:

What is BPB?
When someone in the game thread posts a description of what is happening in the game as they're watching/listening to it. Usually, this will involve a description of each pitch during a plate appearance, as well as pickoff attempts, stolen bases, etc.

Why is it called "BPB"? Where does it come from?
The term "BPB" was originated by Dro in a game thread a few years ago, as a typo for "PBP", and it stuck. I haven't been on TD nearly as long as some here, so I can't say too much about how the whole thing started. I do know that it started years ago before the SEC Network's creation, when games were much harder to keep up with, especially if you didn't live nearby. liquid rabbit was mainly doing it before me, through the end of the 2014 season. I started doing it beginning with the 2015 season, and plan to keep going for now. You'll still see Rabbit here and there, along with posters like LSUJML and poncho villa, who will do the game threads and pitch counts when available, which makes doing BPB a LOT easier. Big props to all the pinch hitters, TD appreciates your work

But I can watch every game. Do we really need this anymore?
Short answer: Yes. While the SEC Network and SECN+ have made LSU baseball more accessible than ever, we keep the BPB going, because there's always someone who needs it, even if you don't see them post about it. I have relied on it myself in the past, on multiple occasions.

I can't watch the game, and all the posts in the game thread make things confusing. How do I keep up?
An easy way to do this is to follow my post history (or the post history of whoever is doing BPB that game). It'll usually be one post per plate appearance, as well as separate ones between innings and for pitching changes.

Your feed is ahead of/behind mine. How are you watching?
If the game is on TV (on a network that's not CST), I'm probably watching that. If not and it's on SECN+, I'm watching that on my laptop, which is significantly behind radio. I don't get CST where I live, so as a backup, I listen to the radio feed on Geaux Zone.

You're spoiling the game for me. Can you stop?
I do this for people who can't watch the game, and the best way is to post plays as I see them happen. Easy way to avoid spoilers: Stay off the Rant/game thread until the game is over.

I'm at the game/listening on radio, and I'm SOOOO far ahead of you. I have to post about the big play I just saw/heard!
In the game thread, it's an unwritten rule to not post ahead of whoever's doing BPB. Either start your own thread, or resist the urge to spoil.

That's about it, although I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Let's have a great season!
