same, I honestly think Poche gets supplanted by the young talent...I really don't want to think like this and hope he doesn't regress the same, but I can see it kind of similar to McCune's career.

He got romped in summer ball...Who do y'all think will be the best out of the 3 freshmen studs? I'm going with Lange

I am worried about Poché's season. I don't think he will have a McCune falloff, but no way he has the season he did a year ago. He will start opening day though.

Ill guess godfrey, only a guess. I think we will have two freshmen. Starting, either newman, poche, or reynolds

Friday- Lange
Saturday - Godfrey
Sunday - Latz

I think Latz may end up on Saturday eventually but these are my guess for the rotation on the season leaving a very veteran weekday and bullpen crop.

Newman isn't ready. Poche looked just okay in the fall. Still going too deep into counts. And who knows about Reynolds; the guy can't stay healthy.

poche doesn't have an out pitch which drives up his pitch count and allows for more mistake pitches

I haven't seen the freshman with my own eyes like some in here, but it's hard not to imagine Poché at least having the Sunday job. I know Mainieri and Dunn would like that experience in a rubber game. Again, that is if he struggles early in the season. We will know alot more after matchups with Kansas, BC, & Houston.

Exactly....

Thats me at the bar... I don't have a good hey lets get out of here line, so I end up making mistakes and never taking the girl home.

UNTIL UBER...

Now I can just be like hey my Uber is here, wanna ride? And they just melt into my arms... We just have to get Poche his "Uber".

Poche will start in the rotation but I think eventually he will be pushed out. I just don't think he has the stuff to be dominant.

I had the same convo with someone over the weekend. I don't see him losing a weekend spot though.

I hope he doesn't because it means he's playing well and we are deeper at the position. I'm glad the basketball team is decent this year. In the past, this is one of the more rough times of the year for sports with football ending and baseball a couple of months away from starting.

I'll take my odds with that, than on guessing 3 freshmen will round out the rotation. It sounds good on paper, but one of them will likely struggle alot.

Yeah, I seriously doubt him losing a weekend spot except due to #overcoaching BCPM.

Lange should have gone pro. He is the real deal. He is different from the rest.

Why he didn't is summed up with one word...Alan Dunn. We are lucky to have a coach that lures guys like him to delay their MLB careers. Good times ahead for LSU pitching.

He could be special. But so could Godfrey or Latz. Saying he stands out at this point is premature IMO.
