We have an issue boys, Cain was at the office and sent every single one of em home.

I don't necessarily expect any of them to be sent packing right now. I think we will just have a huge roster for fall ball and several guys will leave after that when it becomes obvious that they aren't going to play. Out of the hitters, I would say that Bryce Adams, Cody Ducote, and Trey Dawson are the top 3 candidates to leave after fall ball if their position on the depth chart doesn't improve from where they ended the season. On the mound, Nick Bush will probably have to perform well in fall ball to retain a spot. Honestly, even 2-4 of the freshmen will probably have to earn a spot on the 35 man roster during fall ball.
On second thought, Collin Strall might be the 1 guy that I wouldn't be surprised to see leave before August. I think the writing is pretty clearly on the wall that he won't be pitching any during his senior season here.

Will the Jordan twins be kept? Breaux with higher ceiling and already better outfielder. If they are in lineup, we will not be any better.

I agree. Average hitters, no power, and defensive liabilities.
We have got to get Duplantis out of right no matter what.

Are you saying Duplantis is not a good outfielder? I was thinking he should be CF.

No, I think he would be a good left fielder possibly center. We just have to find a decent glove with a hose in right. We are just too exposed there with his lack of an arm. I defended him earlier but it is apparent he can't stay in RF.

The Jordans have plenty of power - they just cannot lay off of bad pitches.

I agree Duplantis in LF! Laird had a worse arm than Duplantis and he was a 3 year RF starter. So expect Dup in RF for 2 more years!
They say Breaux was upper 80's HS pitcher. Better suited for CF/RF.
Romero DH from Day one and spare Pap occasionally.

Who are the most coveted Freshman that will actually make it to campus?

I hope the catching improves. I felt like down the stretch it was a team weakness.

INF Zach Watson, RHP Zack Hess, SS Josh Smith, SS Jake Slaughter, LHP Todd Peterson are the big freshman names who will make it to campus.

Does Zach Watson have a qualifying ACT score? Heard he didn't.

That Ducote is better then all 3 If healthy and given a shot! Can lead the team in batting average and doubles! Greg will light it up as he lands in the 1st Rd next year. Don't count out the Adams kid! Dawson is odd man out if Kramer comes back. Pitching will be interesting!

Zach Watson is already on LSU's campus enrolled in freshman classes.

No way Poche comes back? I would absolutely love that, but just can't see it

.....yeah, 2 players who started 90% of the games will be let go. You are a tool....did the jordan twins cut your son/nephew/neighbor out of a scholarship? It seems since they're twins, people either love them or hate them.

No Power...? Maybe you meant to say "at times struggled to square up balls" or too aggresive/trying to do too much with an at-bat. But no power..? C'mon man.
Defensive liabilities...? You mean the one error between the two of them all year? I guess since they're not prototypical 6'2" 210lbs. W/ 6.2 speed and 500ft power that some of you bafoons think is on every street corner and lined up to come to LSU.
