Umm yea no doubt micah gibbs is the catcher. I like Ross but he still has a ways to go

Catcher is without a doubt Ryan Jorgensen. Drafted in the 7th round for his defense alone.
(also apparently named in the Mitchell report. Yeesh.

Yes, you did. Basically the whole team.

Catcher is not Micah I can't throw anyone out Gibbs. joergensen(sp) is the answer.

I think Ross has the potential but he's not there yet. He definitely has a better arm than Gibbs already.

1st base - Jonnie Tellichea (sp?)
2nd base - Warren Morris
SS - Austin Nola, Jason Williams
3rd base - Chris Moock/Trey McClure/Derek Helenini (1 year)
LF - Jared Mitchell
CF - Mike Koerner/Leon Landry
RF - Mikie Mahtook (kinda a reach)
Man this is fricking laughable.
You ever heard of Micah Gibbs, Brad Cresse, Todd Walker

I'd take a mahtook-landry-Mitchell outfield and match it against anyones

Nola is an outstanding shortstop, but I agree with you about Andy Sheets. We used to yell out "Hooooover" in our section every time a ball was hit his way because he just vacuumed it up. Nothing got through.

3B- Jason Williams
Dude was great defensively.

Just so you know, the above bolded was designated to hit 26 times in 2000 because of the brilliance of Ryan Jorgensen

all time defensive team
(great offensive players but won't be on any all star defensive teams)
Jorgensen was a tremendous defensive catcher.
Jason Williams was a complete rock at 3B/SS. Russ Johnson also very good. Theriot very good also...as were older guys like Sheets & Reboulet.
Morris wasn't great defensively.
plenty of very good defensive OF

Ryan Jorgensen was the best defensive catcher to ever play at LSU. The problem he had was that he played behind the best offnsive catcher in LSU history.
