I hear you. Really this has to have been the most retarded debate about baseball ever. Every poster in the thread disagrees with that fool but he stubbornly spouts crap that is completely idiotic in regards to the game of baseball.

He has no concept about the game of baseball. He probably has never played the game. And if he did, not for long.

I didn't think I needed to. When you're getting blown out, you have nothing to lose and can take risks. I could go on, but based on the lack of intelligence from a bunch of young kids who consider themselves experts because their Mommy and Daddy brought them to a game when they were eight (not including yourself), I won't waste my time.

I was invited to tailgate with the guys that fed both teams after the LSU/SLU game. I was impressed with the manners and the way in which this team handled itself, going out of there way to say thanks. I know, I know, doesnt have alot to do with how they do between the lines, but does about the kind of kids LSU is recruiting and the discipline of the coaching staff.

stop flaming for the sake of flaming. You know NOTHING about what you are talking about. I'd explain it to you but I have neither the time nor the patience to teach an idiot.

please do, please tell us the definition of "heart" if it isn't coming back from a huge deficit.

That assumption is ridiculous, try me.

Also, a good point that hasn't been brought up yet, why do you have to wait to give your prediction? Need to do some baseball research first?

But sir, you should have known that the "no heart" comment was going to start one being as you have as many posts as you do.

We're all LSU fans here and share a common bond. I'm sure we are all not as knowledgeable as we would have others think.

Now this comment I agree with.

I can't think of a team that epitomized the concept of showing heart more than last year's baseball team.

Now we have an idiot who is questioning that heart, on a team made up of basically the same players, literally 3 weeks into the season because we lost 2 of 3 to Illinois in a pre-conference series.

This guy is either the dumbest guy on the planet, or is very new to college baseball.

Your argument that the LSU baseball team has no heart is not well supported by your posts. In the past, LSU teams good enough to make the CWS and even win it all have had early season struggles and also lost midweek games. Since most of last year's CWS team that provided the best winning streak in LSU history is back, why do you think this team is different from other LSU teams that have struggled early?

Here's a hypothetical question for ya. Team A, losing 8-1 in the middle innings, says the hell with it, we're losing, who cares if we win anyway. Team B, in the same situation, says we have nothing to lose, let's take some risks and see if we can still win this thing. Which of these two teams has no heart?

I'm back to post my predictions. I see many new tools taking shots, but none willing to put it on the line with a prediction. No one fully accepted the challenge. Lack of knowledge? Scared to be held accountable? It appears that way.

I see many have rejected the olive branch and continue to throw stones. No problem - have at it and hope it makes you feel like a e-man. Your ignorance lack of rationale, and repeated inability to understand what was written shows.

Some of the answers are truly amazing and appalling at the same time. Some of you just can't accept any criticism of our team. I can understand it, and have done the same thing. Several posters are just immature kids who have no idea what they do not know. A couple are EXACTLY like the ones that said we needed to give Curly and Smoke more time. I heard it then to.

Undoutably, someone will next ignorantly accuse me of saying we need to get rid of Mainieri, which is not what the aforementioned states. Man LSU baseball fans always have had an inferiority complex with LSU football fans for some reason, and I have never understood that, being a devoted fan to both. Baseball, like basketball at LSU, will always be the other sport. Deal with it.

It will always be unpopular not to be on the bandwagon, but it's a damn shame you can't post any sort of opinion on this board without being attacked by a bunch of ignorant, spoiled punks. I don't mean all of the responses - you know who you are. What is scarier is how many don't understand why watching a baseball game at 6 or 8 years old doesn't make you an expert.

Unbelievable.

As I started this thread, I will say it again. This year's basketball team has overcome far more adversity than the current baseball team. Therefore, this year's baseball team should feed from that, and other things, like football's bowl win. Their regular season is over and that comparison should be esay. I am sure there are a few that will disagree with that statement, and they are pretty obvious to spot.

Prior to the losses to Ill and USLLLL, I predicted a showing in the CWS. I'm not so sure about that now.

40-16 in regular season
Lose the SEEC game
3-0 regionals
2-1 super regional
0-2 in cws

Illinois:
31-20

NO CWS appearance

See my post immediately above yours.

TWELVE HOURS before your blithering ignorance. In all honesty, you have to try to be that stupid.

They don't get any dumber than you, son. Congratulations for the most stupid posts in a thread for 2009.
