re: Odd/rare LSU memorabilia

I have two footballs autographed by Kevin Faulk and Cecil Collins. He signed them with his football number and not his inmate number otherwise they would be real collectors items!

Great analogy!! But don't give Miles any ideas! God forbid another MLB have a good week at practice he may get benched for real since practice performance is what determines who starts!

I don't think this is true. What is probably happening in practice is just like what we see in the games.
Miles talks about practice as justification for starting Jefferson over Lee because nobody can witness what goes on in practice. He has no legitimate justification for Jefferson over Lee and can't fall back on game performance (which should be the only thing that matters after 7 games!)so he lies to us with practice performance because nobody can dispute him on that cause we can't see it!

re: LSU players who went pro..never injured?
Posted by lsutigerfanatic2003 on 8/24/09 at 8:07 am to CAD703X
The correct answer is .....
Andrew Whitworth. Started every game of his LSU career. Never even missed a practice while at LSU. Hold the all-time starts record with I think 52. It could be broken this year by Ciron Black.
I misread the post. Now I see you are looking for LSU players not missing time in the NFL. I have no idea, but Faneca hasn't missed any real time in his career.

take your pick. Savioe had about three in 1996 all on David Lafleur catches where he peeled back and crushed a defender. The best decleater of them all was at Ole Piss in 96 on a long LaFleur reception. I mean knocked his feet above his head and he never saw him coming.
re: Dont want to ignore the importance of pitching tonight, but

Actually we need 6 runs. We are 13-13 when scoring less than 6. We are 42-4 when scoring six or more and we are undefeated when leading after the sixth inning. So 6 is the magic number.

All day. The same bash J Mitch crap from you. Give it a rest already. And you have to be the dumbest baseball fan of all time to think that Landry should start now over J Mitch.
Why don't you go bash Miles because he isn't Saban or something. arse

I think Hanover's errors lately has taken him out of the lineup more than his bat. He will be fine at 2B next year. I would like to see him get some pt in Omaha for the experience though.
And Mitchell should NEVER sit for Landry. Even though he struggles mightly against lhp, he is still the better choice.

Better question, Hanover or Hellenni (sp)

That is correct, he is done.
However, LSU did have a player play football for four years at the same time that he played minor league baseball. Jamie Howard

Whatever man. The ticket said +250 not -250. You go tell Caesars that they got their shite wrong. I don't really give a shite what you internet tough guys think. I got my cash. I tried to mention something I saw this weekend that pertained to this post and ya'll decided to jump all over it.
I just wish I could be such experts at it as you are. :doublebird:

ok maybe i got it backwards, but i did bet on LSU to beat Rice on Saturday and it was +250. I bet $100 and got back $140 on the win. So if the +600 was on the other side it would have been correct. As far the Math wiz comment - Go frick yourself.

I was just there this weekend. I remember that LSU was +600. Which means for every $600 you bet on LSU to win you would get back $700. Risk 6 to get 1. I don't remember any other team higher than LSU. Of course this was before the Supers were all wrapped up.

Actually for the longest time we did have SEC chanpionship signs posted in the outfield. The first Intimidator also had SEC championships listed. It was only after they had to revise the Intimidator for like the third time that they only listed the National Championships.
The players, coaches, and the vast majority of the fans care about winning the SEC Championship even if for some reason you don't.

stop flaming for the sake of flaming. You know NOTHING about what you are talking about. I'd explain it to you but I have neither the time nor the patience to teach an idiot.

I hear you. Really this has to have been the most retarded debate about baseball ever. Every poster in the thread disagrees with that fool but he stubbornly spouts crap that is completely idiotic in regards to the game of baseball.
He has no concept about the game of baseball. He probably has never played the game. And if he did, not for long.

YES.
I think this weekend will be similar to last weekend. Illinios has good pitching stats but they havent faced any competition yet. And while facing those lower level teams they are hitting .270 as a team with two starters over .300 while giving up a fair amount of unearned runs. I see mismatch.
LSU will sweep this weekend. And if they don't they will win 2 out of 3. :geauxtigers:

It was actually Warren Morris who made two outs in the inning with a hit in between the outs. He was just getting back from the wrist injury.
