So you dont think that Illinois could edge out just 5 more games this year? They have a fairly new coach too going into his 4th year. They have some very good starting pitching but lack a decent pen. I predicted only 7 more LSU losses.. They will sweep a few series and maybe lose one but I dont see them getting swepped. Not exactly the most bold predictions in the world.

Do you want to think about that? Otherwise, you just lost all credibility.

If he was born in 1985 he was about 6 1991 and maybe 15 in 2000. How much do you think he really knows about LSU baseball?

I already told you when I started following, a very young age. I can probably back that up if necessary.

I see your math skills are also exceptional.

You're either dumb for puting your true birth date and age on here or like most kids, adding a couple of years to compensate.

Quit while you're behind, son.

It's either heart, talent or coaching. I choose to rule talent out.

Consider this your personal invitation to put your prediction down. Show your immense knowledge. Let's see exactly how much you know. All are invited.

For what it's worth, I haven't been following LSU baseball but for a couple of years. This is my second year with season tickets and I have not missed a home game. I'm just a girl that loves watching the Tigers play. I responded to your origin post "LSU baseball - hope you were watching...That's what heart looks like." I will say it again, this team has plenty of "heart" and anyone who has seen them play knows it.

In response to 2nd part of your comment, What is it that you want me to predict?

They were also losing to Illinois in the Saturday game, albeit was at the beginning of the game. Another mini comeback.

I will come back and make my predictions, but will not respond after that. I attended LSU baseball games before Bertman was there. This was never meant to be an infighting topic. We're all LSU fans here and share a common bond. I'm sure we are all not as knowledgeable as we would have others think.

what the hell does age have to do with this argument? I'm 20, but have attended 6 out of the last 7 college world series and played ball my whole life. Sure, I was young during the 90s, but that means absolutely nothing when it comes to general baseball knowledge. Anyone who has been around baseball their whole life should be able to recognize this team has heart and there's no need to be in panic mode just because we've lost some early season games.

calls the #21 ranked team in the nation aweful

The only reason they are even ranked is due to the fact they beat a so called #1 team. They'll be gone out of the rankings within the week. LSU is letting all that hype get to their heads. Hopefully these embarassing losses brought them back down to reality.

I was really hoping all of the "LSU football fans" would be distracted by spring drills by this point

While I hate to see them ever loose, I think this coaching staff has there eye on the start of SEC play and really hasnt thought anymore about the mid week losses since they happened. And for the record, the kid that started Friday night for Illinois looked like a stud, for any team ranked anywhere. May have been a flash in the pan, career night, but he was solid.
