Great question. The last Mainieri talked about it, which was in January, he was not optimistic the equipment & software were going to get installed in time for opening night. I have not heard anything since then.

That's good to hear. About the only thing I plan to learn from tonight is how the field looks, are the uniforms fitting snug and tight, do the scoreboard lights all work? I'll wait until next week to try and find out if our boys can play. Nothing will be learned this weekend.

Well if the bullpen throws strikes, they should get outs. I hate to talk down about an opponent, but UNO is just trying to get back on their feet. Add in that it's the first weekend, and hitters are behind the pitchers, and it could lead to sone quick defensive innings.

I didn't see any rain on the radar. Looks clear throught the night on the hourly as well...
