Bugg is legit. Mono is gone. Been saying that since early fall.

I'm pretty sure McMuffin played CF at Delgado. It's not like he hasn't been out there before.

McMullen can play CF no doubt, it's just that Laird was pretty damn good at covering the gaps when he started there last season.

I've found it hard to get a good grasp on the pitchers during the scrimmages.

Because he wants Laird to get comfortable in left? McMuffin is not a good outfielder.

I may be wrong but I think the NOLA advocate said that Ibarra will be protecting Bregs meaning Ibarra will be clean up.

Oh I agree. But Stevenson won't be out that long so why not let Laird get used to the position he's going to be in. If Stevenson can't go for a while, I think he would move Laird back to CF.

Yes, its not like Stevenson is out a month

Mainieri said that during Media Day, but has since said Foster will hit clean up.
Now that I think about it though, maybe that is because he realized Ibarra may not play much this weekend.

If we cant beat UNO and Grambling with McMullen in CF, we have much bigger problems.
Posted on 2/12/14 at 3:12 pm to harry coleman beast
no doubt.
i agree that getting the existing starters comfortable is more important than having to switch a bunch of things around due to minor injuries.
