Going to be in Houston next weekend

I searched but didn't see anything recent.

Google says BLVD Park but it's not downtown. Walk On's also looks out the way.

Is there anything near downtown? If not, how is BLVD and the surrounding areas?

Blvd is fun for games. And only about a 15 minute uber from downtown.

Downtown kinda blows except for a few places in Eado by the baseball park. Blvd is in the heights and there are a ton of other bars around there. The Boot is about a block away.

I went to BLVD for a bit of the Clemson game last year…thought it was way too clubby and not a great watch bar.

The Boot is in the same area (Shady Acres); if you’re wanting to sit and actually watch/listen to/focus on the game it’s a great spot.

Plenty of bars nearby…believe Bungalow and McIntyres are good for casually watching.

Haven’t been out downtown/midtown in a long time, but have to imagine Little Woodrow’s (midtown) is still a good time.

Little Woodrow’s on shepherd is the LSU watch party spot. Worth going out of your way for.

Not anymore. It’s BLVD now.

I miss the Woodrow’s days though. 2019 there was a lot of fun. The Kirby ice house year was fun too.

It gets like that for night games sometimes. Day games there are pretty pleasant as long as you get there early enough to grab a table.

I quit going to the watch parties when they moved from the Shepherd location.

Sane. Little Woodrows on shepherd was excellent for the watch parties.

Felt like being in Louisiana, don't know why they moved from there.

I try to make a couple of them a year plus the alumni crawfish boil.

It was great. I did like Kirby Ice House with the Best Stop food truck though.
