LSU Auburn game time???

So I am planning a surprise b-day party for my husband Sept. 20th. My problem is that I am doing it at a local sports pub during the LSU/Auburn game. The problem is that they probably will not annouce the game time until the week before the actual game. Right? I am assuming that it will be a night game but we all know what happens when you assume. So do i put on the invite something about an hour before kickoff and hope its at night or just put 7pm and hope and pray the game isnt at 2pm. which would the other likely time. Any insight would be helpful...

Whenever LSU plays at Auburn it is usually a day game. Probably the 2:30 CBS game.

Hasn't it already been anounced, that it is a night game?

Pretty sure Tuberville has already mentioned that AU is really looking forward to them having the opportunity to play LSU at night and at home. I would say go ahead and do the 7pm time

I would send out the invitations with your email address. Inform them of the delayed notice of exact time due to the TV schedule. If they are LSU fans, they will understand, but mark the date on their calendar. Let them email you back if they care to attend and if they understand the "time" is a fluid thing. Let them know in the invitation that you will email them to confirm game time and party time as soon as you know.
Isn't the internet/email wonderful?
That's my 2 cents...I hope it helps!

Go do a search, I'm not doing it for you. Its been posted on this message board several times in the last few months. Auburn's official website has stated ESPN has used one of its 2 preseason picks to select the LSU/Auburn game and it will be at night.

Hang on, nobody asked you to search for anything, I just wasn't aware the start time had been confirmed by anyone.

This board's accuracy of information approaches that of the local weatherman.

Interesting, since LSU Sports.net has no such mention, and CBS has not confirmed which game they will be taking that day.
I absolutely hope the game is on ESPN at night--the refs won't be able to see as well while working to steal the game.

Yes you did, you asked for a link. Unless you think I have the link memorized, then you were asking me to search for that link and post it so you could verify it.

ESPN doesn't have to wait for CBS to pick a game that day. ESPN gets 2 picks per season where they get to pick a game before CBS. ESPN has used one of those on the LSU/Auburn game.

Mrs TH just landed me great seats for the game. I look forward to seeing all of you there. I will have on my Auburn 54 jersey with the TideHater on back. Look me up in the Alumni tent for a drink.

Easy answer, just have the start time for the b party to start at 12:00 noon till 12:00 midnight. I sure if they are tiger fans they will last this long. Now the place where the b party takes place might grumble, just keep ordering drinks and food.
Lastly tip the server well and he or she will take care of the entire party, ask about shift change and do the same for the one who takes over. Make sure you have designated drivers. Enjoy and
