And every one of them are 100% correct! Lsu, boosters and Aleva hung Les out to dry....after 11 years, you would think they could have shown a little more respect for the man! Say something, anything, lie whatever...but to just remain quiet and let the rumor mill and media run with a story was wrong....
Les was the only professional in this whole debacle

It seems to me that his treatment of chief was part of his plan to get rid of Miles.

Bama took a huge hit when they fired Mike Shula
What was his winning percentage and number of national and SEC championships again?

Gameday and SEC Nation is about to rip us apart in a couple of hours. Especially Marcus Spears surprisingly against the letting go of Miles
Spears is gonna say what his boss tells him to say.

Agree. This whole situation is showing who the wuss LSU fans are.

lol
marcus picked bret bielema in the preseason as his #1 sec coach heading into the season. and while he did beat us.. he's had an ugly season. i'm surprised he would be against letting go of miles, especially since he's a saban guy any ways.

This situation is getting worse and worse daily. I kind of wish we knew exactly what was going on.

that was not my point. He took Bama through tough NCAA sanctions and the national media including daddy Don raped Bama over the coals.

Well, it weakens your comparison when Shula was nowhere near as successful as Miles.

other than may and galloway, i don't hear much black noise either.

Mike Shula. Bwaaaaaaa..he couldn't sniff Les

SA Today article blasting us for the treatment of a legendary coach. Mostly for shamefully letting him twist in the wind.
ESPN is blasting us mercilessly. Yahoo, Fox Sports, anybody with a microphone or an Internet outlet is killing us
Sooo...the ONLY ones talking about the situation, thus twisting Les in the wind, is the MEDIA. Then the MEDIA blasts "us" [sic] for doing it. Silliness

I think it's time to take this to Alleva's door.
How, do you propose this get "taken to Alleva's door"? Do WE appoint a poster to write a note and tack it to the door frame? What are WE to do to accomplish this task?
quote:
He doesn't appear to have our best interests at heart.
How did you arrive at THIS conclusion? Using the same logic as above? Yeeeesh
quote:
I think what has been holding us back more than anything Les did is Joe's treatment of Chief, his inability financially support and manage coordinator hires, and his lack of foresight to how doing what he's doing right now would play out.
wow...just, wow
"WE" have another 48 hours or so for this to play out. Welcome to the internet age where rumor and conjecture is spread like a plaque.
The same MEDIA that excoriates "us" [sic] is the ONLY voices yapping about the "terrible treatment". Otherwise, there is no "treatment" at all going on. Les is being paid his full salary, he is doing his job, LSU will wait for a season to conclude, and LSU will make a decision without giving a sick rat's arse about what the nattering nabobs on ESPN, et al, think or want.
THAT is precisely what the AD and BoS should do in order to look after LSU's interests

It's always easy to feel sorry for someone that is mentally challenged. But ironically it's the same people that made fun of his antics on a weekly basis.

well yes but we dealt with sanctions you guys are not. but the national hit we took we pretty huge and then hiring NS added fuel to the fire because he denied he was leaving Mia. So the firestorm is similar. That is my only point. But I do see that ours was an apple and yours is an orange.

It's time you either put LSU ahead of Miles or step away from keyboard.
Posted on 11/28/15 at 7:02 am to Giantkiller
Why didn't the media bash Miami when they dumped Coker? He brought them a national championship and had 5 consecutive years where he had 3 losses or less.
What has miles done since 2012?
