I love it. Moved up 2100 spots. Now 2105. Since last year's cut off was around 3000 for new seats. Hope I can get two more like I have been wanting for 5 years now.

Forgive me for being a bit slow, but is there any good that can come from donating $100 to TAF every year; as it relates to seating or the chance for additional seats?

This new system will ensure that only large corporate donors get ANY new tickets
Completely wrong. The new policy will help ticket buyers like me who contribute to LSU for reasons other than just to buy tickets.

For someone who has an Obama poster with "Socialism" on it, you sure do seem to resent success.

Good. Don't let the stadium gate hit you in the arse on your way out.....

With LSU changing the donation policy and accepting donations to LSU the school instead of LSU the football program, the IRS should be less likely to get involved and just may keep the donations tax deductable.

The IRS does what Congress tells it to. I seriously doubt Congress will end tax deductions for season ticket surcharges (Tradition Fund donations). If they do there will be a lot of changes in major college sports.

Yes and no...

If you work for LSU, you don't have to pay the Tradition Fund on two of your tickets.

Of course, unless you are a dean, a major professor, or a vice president at the LSU Alumni Association, you likely aren't making enough to really contribute to the University to be philanthropic and move up the list.

It would be nice if you got a half a point per year of service or something along those lines, I suppose.
