Here is a link to Tigerbait TV that will get you to both LINK

Sounds like they are holding their third starter for LSU unless they get into a bind.

Good stuff.

I admire both coaches and and the players present for the way they handled themselves. Especially USM group. It had to be hard to come out there after that game.

Does anyone know who they have available to pitch?

another stud Riggins with a 2.75 ERA. 79 Ks/20 walks. They are VERY deep.

There staff is good but LSU hit their top righties out of the pen. That Lefty gave them some fits.

How does USM get a lefty that throws 97?

He is right. They remind me a lot of Skip Bertman‘s type of LSU staff. The biggest difference is a starting lefty à la Mike Sirotko or someone like that.

Yea that’s what I said last night I bet they hold their starter for us. That’s their only hope. KSU has no one left. I bet they throw the guy that started when we played them and we knocked him out in the second inning. We can only hope they are hot with the bats and force Southern Miss to throw their third ace.

I hope it’s a high scoring game.

Jordan Thompson deserves some respect with all the criticism he’s taken all year. From that postgame conference it sounds like the whole team looks to him for mental toughness in those binds. He puts in the work and has improved his fielding a lot as the years gone on. Good choice for team captain

Scott Berry is one heck of a coach and he is really good at finding hidden gems. He also has a lot of great HS baseball teams in the area

Their pitching coach Ostrander (great name for pitcher) is one of the best in business. I wanted JJ to explore him when we hired Jay.

You can develop pitches, increasing velocity is not that easy. I can see if young man was injured or a late bloomer, but how did MLB miss out on him

Good stuff. But I would have liked to see some credit given to Bianco’s steal.

He is one heck of a pitching coach. He was HC at Gulfport High and did a heck of a job. He is also a great guy off the field. He would have been a heck of a hire

They have been a steady program for a while now.
