People would boycott the first cupcake game of the season. Players would probably be up for it in unity against the shitty administration. Everyone just watch the game at their tailgate and get hammered.

I always assumed that LSU has a department in the Vet school that specializes in the life and care of tigers. It's not like Mike is just a roadside attraction. But some of the comments from experts in this article make it seem so.
The issue is that it's just one animal. Ok, I get that. But does that make a difference at all? If anybody is against Mike being replaced, you better never let me catch you at the zoo or the aquarium for that matter. It's the same thing.
It's not like LSU is sending a guy to India to buy a Tiger on the black market.

There were people who donated a hell of a lot more than $500 too. Those people will be furious if LSU drops the ball on replacing Mike.

I agree. I imagine that a substantial portion of the funds came from a few wealthy boosters like for most projects.
So we have this, and the nutrition center being delayed/changed...
You know some high end boosters put up a lot for that specific project as well.
Not to mention alleva was actively recruiting donations for miles' buyout and had secured some before they changed their minds.
How long until the money men are fed up with this administration? They can't be too happy in the return on investment lately

Thread title appears to be a bit misleading.
According to that article, it seems like LSU isn't guaranteed to get a tiger even if they tried. The places they used to get a tiger like the sanctuaries they got them from are now gone.
