100%. Again, I never said that Jay did anything wrong. I think he probably already had Cowan warm, and was hoping he could get out of the inning with 10 or so pitches and save him for later in the weekend. When that inning turned into 25+ pitches he made the decision to finish the game with him. I haven’t bashed Jay or said that we are screwed for the rest of the weekend. I simply said that I wish Cowan could have been used in a more high leverage or useful spot rather than him being burned with a 6 run lead.

Just realized Kade barely used the curveball against a RH heavy line up. FB/CH/SL was enough to dice them up. Really impressive when you realize he was really only FB/CB last year, and the CB is an elite pitch.

For the record, I wasn't serious about the 10.4 runs either. I'll never be pissed at an 8-2 win, especially a road conference win.
