.240 last year to .380 this year. That’s a wild jump especially for a power hitter. Sketchy if you ask me.

And we follow every walk with a wild pitch. We don’t have anyone that can consistently throw strikes.

The issue isn’t just throwing strikes. They are trying to drop some in, but they are mostly trying to land close enough or start in the zone and drop out to induce swings and misses.
Most of the pitches just haven’t been good enough to get swings. Then they are also holding up on several where we you would often get a swing and miss on one that lands out of the zone.
