impressive win against GT, and a now better looking win against Fl. St.

It pains me to say it but they deserve every bit of that ranking

AGREED!! I think I am the only one on here who said they would be a VERY GOOD TEAM this year. TOO much talent.

What about FSU #18, BYU #19 after FSU beat them 54-28, not to mention barely losing to the number 9 team in the country.

USC #12
Washington #24.
Sure.
That makes a lot of sense.

Oh please, you didn't honestly expect they would put Washington above USC, or they should.

We don't know if Washington is an upset or are they that good.

If they start cutting through the Pac-10 they'll cut through the rankings as well.

Okay how does BYU stay in the top 25 after getting the crap beaten out of them at HOME? That's ridiculous on many levels. Not only that but they stay 5 spots ahead of a team in the coaches poll that scored just about double what they scored and gave up 54 points, again at home. At least the AP has Florida State ahead of BYU. They deserve to be ahead by more than one spot though. Sometimes the polls just don't make sense. BYU should've dropped out after that butt kicking! You shouldn't lose to an unranked team by 26 points and stay in the Top 25. If it was close, yeah, they easily stay in but losing by 26? Come on pollsters, this crap is getting old.

They did beat OU on the road. However if FSU would have at least showed up last wek against Jacksonville State, They would get more credit. Think about it.

Then he shouldn't have Texas at #1 because they gave up TONS of big plays to Texas Tech last night

I think Oklahoma should be about 22nd or 23rd. They lost their starting QB at the half against BYU and probably would've won that game had Bradford played the 2nd half; maybe not by much but they I think they would've pulled out the win. I would have Florida State about 18th and BYU drops out (even if they did beat Oklahoma for the reason given above). To lose by 26, at home, to an unranked team gets that team dropped imho.

Agreed, I talked to VT fan at church, he said Miami is going to come up there and beat them handly this coming weekend. VT has no offense

You can sense that Miami is getting the MO back..

It's all about the QB play! Makes coaches look like a genius
