Tulane was on bubble. Should we at least root for them over UCF and USF?

Tulane was pretty safely in before getting swept by Cincinnati last weekend.

They are very out unless they win the conference tournament.

I mean if we’re out we have to be 1 or 2 away. Crazy that we went from not even being last four in to being a slot or two good or bad from making it.

I’ll also say I can’t imagine bama gets in ahead of us. Don’t really thing uga should either. I think a telling stat is sec series record. LSU 5-5. Uga and bama are 3-7. That’s a big difference and to me puts us over the top along with SOS and RPI. Records were the same and bama only won 12 games during reg season. We also beat them 2/3. Only thing bama has is they won two games in sec Tourny. It would be a shame if they made it and we didn’t. It may come down to either team.

Committee will also penalize Bama for cancelling midweek games, in my opinion.

K-State gets run ruled to end their tournament. I'd say they are right in the bubble mix now. Wish they has lost this morning.

SIU is out of the MVC tourney so no stolen bid there with DBU and Indiana State in the final.

K-States RPI is 71 I don’t think winning a few games in the tourney puts them on the bubble.

I hope not but again I think RPI is so out of whack this year that you can't dismiss them entirely. In the end, I think LSU is ahead of them, thankfully.

Possibly both. Winner is a lock to host IMO.

LSU should not have played NW State. It rained all day. It would not have really been an excuse to call it for weather. LSU went above and beyond to get that game in. A win there would not have helped the RPI one bit, but the loss dropped us several spots.

With McNeese winning their tournament, does this affect LSU?

No. Southland is a 1-bid league.

They were trying to play the game because CPM was at 1499 and that was the last home game. They were thinking had to get in because SEC game started Thursday that week at Bama
