Big news there, may drop indiana behind us now, hopefully

Nothing about Indiana's resume says they should be in front of LSU to begin with.

But yet a third seed??? Numbers don’t add up. If we are 63, we should be a fourth seed somewhere.
4-seeds are almost always auto-bids from weaker conferences who only get in by winning their conference tournament. Those are the teams whose RPI and SOS is so weak that they have no chance for an at-large bid. I don’t think an SEC team has ever been a 4-seed. I wanna say there was a 4-seed from the Big XII like 15 years ago who wasn’t getting in until they won the conference tournament. Texas A&M, maybe.
All of the teams on the bubble are fighting to be 3-seeds, basically. The 1-64 selection list on D1 baseball and the other sites isn’t a ranking of quality that determines seeds. It’s a list of how likely we are to get in. Any time a bid gets stolen in a conference tournament, teams like us get pushed one spot down the list.
Another interesting thing is we’ll probably see a traveling 1-seed this year. Old Dominion will likely be a 1-seed in someone else’s regional. Probably South Carolina’s.

Thank you! But still shouldn’t put a team as 63th out of 64 and then rank them ahead of team that were above 63.

Campbell blew the lead. Tied 5-5 in the 8th.

Well its not a ranking of the team's quality or potential seeding but rather a look at their chances to make the tourney. So bubble teams should definitely be 61, 62, etc.

Really hate these crap conferences getting auto bids. Should only be for P5 and Go5

Everything about this Liberty-Jacksonville game sucks.
Looks like a bid will be stolen by a total trash team.

Yep, that could be the nail in our coffin, or the 2nd to last nail
