Probably was more of a run and hit to try to stay out of the double play. 2-2 count, you know he is coming with a strike. He's also been wild, so a ball probably gives him a chance to steal the base. Feducci needs to put that in play.

The only thing I don’t particularly like about the hit and run is feduccia hasn’t batted in a long time and you have their ace pitch count high, make him pitch don’t give them outs...

That's my thought. You have a baserunner who isn't a real steal threat and a pitcher struggling to find the zone.
Don't help the pitcher
