Haven't seen this posted yet, but the latest NCAA Power Rankings are available at LINK
WTF?! LSU is 4th?!? They have us behind Alabama, Stanford, and a 2-loss Wisconsin! Whatever formula they use needs a major adjustment...
Here is the Top 10:
1. Alabama
2. Stanford
3. Wisconsin
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma State
6. Oklahoma
7. Georgia
8. Oregon
9. Michigan
10. Arkansas

Is this a fan voting ranking?

fine print:
The NCAA.com Power Rankings are based solely on team statistics. The formula includes current stats for both offense and defense, taking into account teams’ ability to produce positive results on both ends of the field. A strength-of-schedule factor is also included to reward teams that play more BCS opponents, and gives a disadvantage to teams that play a high number of non-BCS and FCS teams. The same SOS factor carries across the whole season for a team, meaning the weekly shift in ranking is accounted for completely by that week’s statistics.

And thank you and congrats to all the tigers who put on that uniform this year and gave your all to get LSU to that 14-0 finish. These Tigers have earned that crystal ball.

Robert smith and Kirk herbstriet are really starting the get under my skin.
I pray that les is posting all of this BS up for the team to see. This team has so much swag and plays for each other, CLM, the state and the fans. It's like going on the road aagainst the odds brings the best out of us.
LSU teams in the past few year would have lost that moo state game and struggled with Oregan and Bama. May have even let West Virginia back in the game. But this team is different and as much as they wish bad upon us. The disrespect is being harnessed into pure passion and energy.
So to the haters. This is going to happen. Nothing you can do to stop it.

Rankings based off of opponents win / loss records. No loss and one loss teams only. FCS schools played not included. Conference strength not included.
1. LSU 71-49 0.592
2. Ok St 74-54 0.578
3. Bama 69-52 0.570
4. Viginia Tech 68-53 0.562
5. Boise St. 68-59 0.535
6. Arkansas 64-56 0.533
7. Stanford 63-70 0.474
8. Houston 55-67 0.451
Calculated this because of ESPN article with Stanford coach complaining about the BCS formula. I guess he felt his team should be ranked higher.

LSU truly has earned their #1 Ranking. They have beaten 6 ranked teams including Bama @ their house. These Turkeys need something else to do! This team has great players, very fast and quick...

Maybe counting my chickens before they hatch, but if LSU wins out:
Beating the following teams(rankings at time of game):
#2 Alabama
#2 Alabama
#3 Arkansas
#3 Oregon
#13ish Georgia
#16 West Virginia
#17 Florida
#19 Auburn
#25 Mississippi State
even though those last 4 teams haven't lived up to those rankings, that is still an impressive slate.

This same poll didn't have LSU in their top 15 until week 5. It's garbage.

Passing yards must figure pretty heavy into their formula as that is the only way I can figure they came up with ratings that look like that based on stats.
