if Yorke was put back at 1B, would that have freed up Braun or anyone else who could play 1B to play somewhere else in the IF
No
Bro, watch a game. Braun throws left handed. He can't be put at another infield position

Braun led the team with 3 hits tonight
Absolutely. I was just trying to figure out if putting Yorke back out there at 1B, would that have freed up Braun/Yamin/whoever to play another IF position as we appear limited in numbers with Carraway out and Dardar/Serna previously listed as questionable.
I was surprised to see how many players are listed as L/R with Milam the only true switch hitter. So, what I've learned so far is the team is significantly limited at 1B and C. Braun remains the best option for 1B as he's L/L Yamin has very little playing time. Last year he played 1B. Freshman year, catcher.
My thought process, while flawed, was to see if putting a previously benched 1B would have helped the IF numbers some, but it would appear it would not. Leave Braun at 1B.

Nice edit.
I do watch the games. And the scrimmages as well. But I'm starting late in life with this baseball stuff. It's ok.
As posted the other day, it does appear difficult to track who can actually play what position just by looking at where they are "ranked" coming out of HS. As I said above, it's surprising, to me anyway, the number of IFs and OFs listed as L/R. Despite nearly complete ambidextrousness, I could never convince myself to bat right handed.
There are lots of baseball minded posters on here with a ton of knowledge and they often disagree with each other. It's baseball.

More likely we get swept than we take the series. I think the team is on the precipice of melting down big time.

This is the worse fielding LSU Team I can recall
And have the nerve to beg for money, per win.

I’m afraid you are correct.
