The play calling has been pretty conservative. Only one pass downfield that I recall. I hate seeing that nice 21 yard run by Ridley wasted.

JJ is looking like he is scared to throw another int. If the first receiver isn't open he runs with the ball. MSU knows this and is constantly bringing pressure and stacking the box.
He is going to have to throw it down the field to make them respect the pass.

Way to go Les! JJ only throws short safe passes, nothing downfield, and we can only score FG's. We are in SERIOUS trouble! JJ is not playing better because he isn't playing at all.

I really am not sure if JJ is aware of why. But I don't think anything will change for him. I feel bad for him now.
