The AP poll will look alot different. I expect LSU to be below Alabama.

Mizzou giving up 80 points to Illinois will not allow them to jump LSU without an LSU loss.

wow. four spot jump for unimpressive win over MSU. don't say LSU doesn't get love. this was a gift.

Yeah, when THREE OF THE FIVE TEAMS ABOVE YOU LOSE, moving up four is a huge gift for beating Moo State.

And now that I really look at the poll, WTF. Southern Cal < Oregon State is a FAR worse loss than Florida < Ole Miss.

Thank You UF,USC, and UGA for sucking. This isn't love for LSU this is a default ranking.

By the way....Texas Tech #8!!

credit to you, but no way LSU is the #2 team in the country. 4 or 5, yes. not 2.

the way UGA got beaten they shouldn't be in the top 10 at all IMO

USC at 9 is a joke considering they lost to a unranked team. First time a #1 team lost to a unranked team in 23 years. Meanwhile Georgia loses to a top team Bama team and is ranked lower then USC?

I was thinking the same thing. Week 3, USC #1 and OSU #5 played, and OSU lost. They dropped 8 positions in the polls. USC in Week 5 falls to an unranked team and loses the same number of spots. Inconsistency there...JMO

Wrong!

#1 has gone down to unranked teams plenty of times in the past 23 years. This is the first time in 23 years it has happened in September I think.

They should have been below UGA though!

The higher up we get ranked I think it's a jinx in the early part of the season, I like to be ranked higher and less expectations. Georgia and Florida dropped out of the top 10 and eventhough
they got beat we know they are dangerous teams to
play. Ole Miss just set us up for the fight of our life next Saturday in Gainesville. I am
praying already.....TEBOW can be explosive. I would love to go undefeated but it's just nearly impossible in the SEC.

A top ten team cannot drop out of the top 10 with only one loss.

a team that's down 31-0 at home going into halftime is not a top 10 team. the preseason polls are ridiculous and purely speculative

That's not a slam to OSU...it's inconsistency in rankings...see my post above.
